Our partner, Ibrahim Shehata, has delivered a presentation on the framework and practice of arbitration in Egypt and Africa at the International Arbitration Day at the Practising Law Institute. Mr. Shehata showed in numbers the status of international arbitration in Egypt and how it has been evolving over the last decade. Further, Mr. Shehata gave his opinion on how third-party funding could enter the Egyptian Arbitration Market and how it could be perceived by the Egyptian Courts. The session was moderated comprised of Mr. John Fellas, Ms. Noella Lubano, and Mr. Jackwell Feris.
