Omar Rabie
Omar Rabie has recently joined as a Partner in S&P in 2024. He is a lawyer with a firm background in Corporate and Commercial laws and has an extensive experience in supporting social and commercial businesses in Egypt and abroad.
Omar has a wide range of professional experiences in social innovation, employment, and entrepreneurship towards the development and building up the capacities of enterprises and start-ups in the MENA region.
Along with his legal practice and managing Rabie Law Firm, he worked as a Legal Specialist for the United Nations Operation Services (UNOPS) on Innovation, Infrastructure, and Impact Investment, Helsinki, Finland. Prior to joining UNOPS, he worked as an Advisor for the German International Cooperation (GIZ) on establishing job placement structures across Egypt providing technical, legal, and strategic support. He also served as an Incubators & Accelerators Advisor, at USAID’s Strengthening Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) project.
Omar has worked at Hegazy and Partners Law Firm in Cooperation with Crowell and Moring where he handled various matters for mega corporations on multiple disciplines as; Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Market, Arbitration, and Corporate Commercial.
He also worked for IKM Advocates, DLA Piper Africa, Nairobi, where he handled broad offshore transactions for multinational corporations across different industries, as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, and Construction industries.
