Shehata & Partners was retained by Trella, an Egyptian startup that serves as a technology platform that removes the trucking hassle by connecting shippers with qualified carriers to move and manage loads seamlessly. Trella currently operates in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
We have been retained by Trella, an Egyptian startup that serves as a technology platform that removes the trucking hassle by connecting shippers with qualified carriers to move and manage loads seamlessly. Trella currently operates in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
We handle all of Trella’s corporate operational needs, including drafting and reviewing agreements, such as service agreement and employment contracts, advising on internal policies, handling term sheets and advising on their FinTech products. We are also assisting on their financing agreements, which amount to approximately USD 45 million. We additionally advise on legal issues in relation to its sister and holding companies in the Netherlands, Pakistan, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
In addition to the above, we also have a secondment arrangement with Trella in which one of our lawyers is currently working as their in-house legal advisor.
